Review and approval checkpoints
Each stage has a different review purpose. Confirm the underlying decision before the next production stage begins, and have one owner consolidate feedback. This table explains what to review at each stage. It does not change the terms, revision policy, schedule, or scope in a project agreement.
| Current process stage | Review focus | Approval result before the next stage |
|---|---|---|
| 1. You fill out creative brief | Goal, audience, value proposition, required proof, CTA, stakeholders, source assets | Brief is complete enough for internal review |
| 2. Internal brief review | Message angle, open questions, assumptions, risks, scope fit | Open questions are ready for kickoff |
| 3. Project kick off call | Audience, message, style direction, characters, visual approach, stakeholders | Creative direction and decision owners are aligned |
| 4. Script and visuals | Spoken message, claims, CTA, scene logic, visual concept, on-screen text | Narrative and visual concept are approved for design |
| 5. Design and illustration | Key frames, colors, typography, visual hierarchy, brand fit, storyboard flow | Visual system and storyboard are approved for production |
| 6. Select voice talent | Voice fit, pronunciation needs, tone, usage context | Voice selection and pronunciation guidance are confirmed |
| 7. Animation and graphics | Timing, movement, scene transitions, product accuracy, readability | Motion direction is confirmed before the full build is finalized |
| 8. Background music and SFX | Tone, pacing, music fit, sound-effect clarity, accessibility implications | Audio direction is approved for final finishing |
| 9. Finalized and delivered | Final accuracy, captions, exports, filenames, aspect ratios, delivery completeness | Final master and agreed deliverables are accepted |
| 10. Go to market | Placement, audience, CTA, owner, distribution, measurement, update plan | Launch responsibilities and next review date are recorded |
